Marvin the Martian was born on July 24, 1948. His creator was a brilliant man by the name of Chuck Jones. Sadly this man died on February 22, 2002. He passed at the age of 89 due to congestive heart failure.

When Marvin made his first appearance in 1948, he was dressed in a goldish-brown outfit and also known as Commander-X-23. Later he was placed in the red and green outfit that we all know and love and called Marvin the Martian. Marvin's voice was played by Mel Blanc until his death in 1989. After his death Joe Alaskey became the voice of Marvin. Mike Maltese was the writer for many of the movies that Marvin was in.

We all know what Marvin's main mission in life is to blow up the earth because it blocks his view of Venus. Marvin and his friend K-9 will stop at nothing to blow the Earth up. K-9 is his faithful canine friend. Marvin uses his Illudium Pew 36 Explosive Space Modulator and the ACME Disintegration Pistol. He uses these to fight off anyone who tries to foil his plans. Some of his arch rivals are Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck.
